Burner holds up to 30ml of alcohol (trapped in asbestos free medium) and will boil 2cups of cold water with 20ml of fuel using an efficient pan and windshield combination. Burns for 18min from brimmed full. Unlike other designs, no priming required.
Just light and you're ready to cook.
Will not flare or pulse like "jetted" pop can stoves, safe controlled burn from lighting to finish.
I started building these burners because I was unhappy with what was available elsewhere, they have been tested in the field on many backpacking trips.
Ideal for solo backpacker, weighs only around 14g Diameter 53mm Height 20mm.
New for 2018 finished in a gold anodised finish. This not only looks good but helps prevent corrosion and reduces general wear and tear.
Always burn off any fuel before long term storage.
PS. People have informed me they are using the burner lid to snuff out the burner when required. This results in melted lid seals. You really don't need to do this just blow the burner out. Another reason to choose our burners.
As with all our products these are hand made, so some variation in finish is to be expected. Obviously function is unaffected.
